The Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security
DYK: Our Knowledge for Prevention (K4P) project seeks to fill a crucial gap in current research and policy.While the recruitment and use of children in conflicts is an evolving and growing issue around the world, reliable and timely information to inform prevention efforts is lacking.Thus, K4P aims to develop an early warning system for the recruitment and use of children as soldiers, notably the first of its kind globally, to inform early and collaborative action to better protect children in conflict environments. We are grateful to our donor, our project advisory bodies and our K4P Community of Practice for their support in helping us lead this work. ...
