Arsene Mukendi Tshidimu is an Accounting and Finance professional with years of experience in corporate accounting, public and private finance, project management, budgeting, strategic proposals, forensic audit, econometric studies and government relations.
He has the experience and ability to lead diverse projects in a variety of highly competitive, dynamic, complex industries and fast-paced environments. He works to ensure that company strategic objectives are clearly translated into meaningful framework of metrics to effectively manage and measure the achievement of the company’s strategy and financial aspiration.
He has strong technical knowledge, skills, and business acumen. During his previous engagements, Arsene led many projects in internal and external audit, risk management (including fraud risk) and controls development (including anti-fraud controls), continuous process improvements to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness, strategic planning, data analytics and financial model engineering. He possesses great skills in financial systems (PeopleSoft, Hyperion Financial management, Hyperion Planning, etc.), data warehouse implementation and extraction, and developing financial and monetary policies and procedures.
At the Dallaire Institute, He is currently the Country Liaison Officer (CLO), responsible for mapping, forging, and maintaining relationships with key contacts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that will enable the successful implementation of project goals. As a CLO, he advises on the strategic access and engagement of security sector actors (including state and non-state armed groups), NGOs, international development agencies and governments. He facilitates
introductions between the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace and Security (Dallaire Institute) staff and key contacts, including the facilitation of high-level meetings between the Executive Director, the Director of Policy and other Dallaire Institute staff and key stakeholders in the country.
