Arsene Tshidimu

Arsene Mukendi Tshidimu is a Finance professional with years of experience in corporate accounting, public and private finance, project management, budgeting, strategic proposals, forensic audit, econometric studies and government relations. He has the experience and ability to lead diverse projects in a variety of highly competitive, dynamic, complex industries and fast-paced environments. In previous engagements as Finance Project Lead, he worked to ensure that company strategic objectives are clearly translated into meaningful framework of metrics to effectively manage and measure the achievement of the company’s strategy and financial aspiration.

 

 

At the Dallaire Institute, He serves as the Project Director and tasked with leading the Promotion of the Vancouver Principles in Sub-Saharan Africa project. This role involves strategically planning, executing, and managing initiatives aimed at preventing the recruitment and use of children in armed conflict and armed violence in the specified countries through innovative approaches that includes accelerating action on the Vancouver Principles, increasing the operational effectiveness of the security sector and integrating children’s and community perspectives into the security sector responses. 

 

He is also currently serving as the Deputy Director at the African Center of Excellence and Demarais-Dallaire Dirigeant by effectively engaging with a variety of critical stakeholders and playing a significant role in advancing the children, peace and security agenda on a global stage, especially with French audiences, through public presentations, media and conference contributions.
