Carlos Pereira
Carlos Antonio Jose Pereira recently came on board with the Dallaire Institute in January 2022 to serve in the position of Grants Manager. Prior to joining, Carlos was working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as a Camp Coordination and Camp Management Subnational Cluster Co-coordinator on the humanitarian response in Tigray.
Carlos brings over 10 years of experience leading complex operations and programming at field level on various international emergency responses, including deployments in South Sudan, Syria/Turkey (Cross-border), Dadaab in Kenya, Iraq, the Tigray region of Ethiopia, as well as development initiatives in Tanzania. He has
overseen grant acquisition, management and operations teams for organizations in Canada and abroad, such as World Vision International, Action Against Hunger, Save the Children, and the UN Agency for Migration, IOM. Carlos holds a Graduate Certificate in International Project Management from Humber College and a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
