Daniela Gallardo
Daniela joined the Dallaire Institute in 2025 as a Research Project Officer for the Latin America Centre of Excellence. Prior to joining the Dallaire Institute, she worked in project coordination for organizations specializing in disability advocacy, newcomer integration and health innovation.
Born to Salvadoran parents and raised in the Maritimes, she has deeply rooted passions for health and linguistic equity as well as community engagement initiatives. She has also completed various research placements in Canada, India, Australia and Mexico.
Daniela holds a B.A from the University of Ottawa, MSc in Global Health from McMaster University, as well as a graduate certificate in Water Without Borders from United Nations University.
