Jean Baptiste Serugendo
Mr. Jean Baptiste SERUGENDO is a Senior statistician with over 13 years of proven expertise in research, and more than 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation. He holds a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation from Mount Kenya University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Statistics from the National University of Rwanda. In addition, he pursued the Project Management Professional (PMP) training course at the University of Rwanda- College of Business and Economics, in partnership with PMI/USA. Prior to joining the Dallaire Institute for Children, Peace, and Security, he built a distinguished career at the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).
From 2011 to March 2024, he served as a professional statistician, contributing to numerous high-impact national projects. These include:

Jean Baptiste’s expertise spans the entire lifecycle of research project management from budgeting, planning, and resource allocation to designing and implementing robust data collection tools. He is skilled in training and supervising field teams, coordinating data collection activities, and ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the process.
