Nisreen Abou Mrad
Nisreen Abou Mrad joined the Dallaire Institute in April 2021 as Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager. Nisreen has over 12 years of experience in planning, monitoring and evaluation in the fields of peacebuilding and conflict resolution, education, health, WASH, Livelihood, Child Protection, Basic Assistance and Food security, Nutrition, Social Protection, and Advocacy. Prior to joining the institute, Nisreen worked for UNICEF, leading on planning and remote monitoring of the cross-border operation in Northwest Syria. Nisreen also led strategy and programme development, planning, accountability and evaluations with World Vision Lebanon and Search for Common Ground in the Middle East and Northern Africa region.
Nisreen is a Lebanese national and a permanent resident of Canada, now living in Nova Scotia. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Lebanese American University and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut.
