Olumide Idowu

Olumide Idowu is a prominent climate change activist from Nigeria, dedicated to raising environmental awareness and fostering a sustainable balance between environmental protection and development. With over 14 years of experience in the field, he actively engages various age groups through his participation in climate change organizations and his influential presence on social media, where he is affectionately known as 'Mr. Climate.'
As a co-founder of the International Climate Change Development Initiative, Idowu focuses on nurturing climate-smart generations in Africa while addressing issues of development disparity. He serves in several key roles, including the Youth Focal Point for the UNDP Small Grants Program in Nigeria, the Climate Change Focal Point for the Consortium of African Youth in Agriculture and Climate Change, and the Youth Lead Author of the Global Environmental Outlook.
